Unexpected Port of Call as Cruise Ship Beaches Itself

Published by conniemotz at 1:54 am under Britain & Europe, Cruise, Travel News Edit This

Passengers and crew onboard the ship, EasyCruise Life, stopped at an unexpected port of call when the ship beached itself near the Aegean island of Syros this past Friday.

The 600-passengers ship required a tug boat to release it from the sand and there were no injuries reported as passengers had already disembarked from their cruise.

Catering to the twenty-something crowd with limited spending budgets, and by sailing for only a few hours each morning, no-frills EasyCruise offers its passengers ‘cool places day & night’.

Sailing to Greece, the Greek Islands and Turkey, EasyCruise line had its maiden voyage in May of this year.  The EasyCruise lines fleet consists of only two ships both painted in their distinct gray color with a very noticeable bright orange stripe.
