Hawaii is one the world’s top tourist destinations and rightfully so.  The islands are so beautiful with their swaying palms, white sands and turquoise waters - everyone is guaranteed to have a wonderful vacation.

One of my favourite Hawaiian islands is Maui and here are a few reasons why:

  • Lahaina  -  a quaint town with wonderful waterfront restaurants and great shopping – there are no big cities on this island

  • Haleakala Crater National Park– an active volcano, be adventurous and explore the highest point on Maui

  • Gorgeous beaches where you can enjoy snorkelling, swimming and scuba diving galore

  • It’s a photography lover’s dream come true – the Iao Needle in the Iao Valley, Kahului, and the scenic Hana Highway
