This is an easy one for me – Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland, CA. 

The seemingly uneventful boat ride through hanging moss, the soothing crickets of the bayou and the coolness of the night air….then the surprise as the boat plunges down into the depths of the unknown.

Well, it is ‘known’ but I still love it.  And I loved the ride way before the movie came along.  And now I just love Captain Jack Sparrow.  I mean, Johnnie Dep.  Yes, I know he’s not real.

I think the animatronics are great and so did Johnnie – check out this video – he’s so cute.  I mean, the video is cute.  Good.   The video is good.  Whatever.

I just love the imagination of it all – being transported into the dangerous world of pirates where anything could happen.   The excitement of being at sea, the romance – doesn’t everyone want to be a pirate?!

Yo-ho,yo-ho, the pirates life for me!
