Vancouver is the 10th Best City in the World to Dine!
According to Food & Wine (F&W) Magazine’s Go List for 2008, Vancouver, British Columbia (BC) has just been voted the 10th best city in the world to dine!
Here are the top choices and dining recommendations for Vancouver:
1. Yew Restaurant & Bar at the Four Seasons, 791 West Georgia St.Less than a year old, F&W recommends the black cod laced with sherry wine vinegar
2. Aurora Bistro, 2420 Main St.Local ingredients, F&W recommends the crisp-skinned white spring salmon with cedar jelly
3. Blue Water Cafe and Raw Bar, 1095 Hamilton St.Located in Yaletwon, F&W recommends the “Unsung Heroes” sampler of sustainably raised fish, such as sardines, spot prawns and lingcod. The Blue Water has hosted Halle Barry and Harrison Ford.
4. Boneta, 1 West Cordova St.Only one year old, F&W recommends the Chocolate terrine with salted peanut crunch
