Destination Vietnam
Vietnam has been an up and coming destination for North American tourists for the past few years. It offers beautiful tropical scenery, delicious food, historical & cultural attractions, eco-tourism activities and so much more.
Situated in Thua Thien province, the former capital city, Hue, is a popular choice for tourists because of its rich history dating back to the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). Remaining unaltered during the time of the Vietnam War, Hue can still boast pagodas that are more than 300 years old.
Must sees in Hue include the Royal Tombs, the Huong River also known as the Perfume River, the Ancient Citadel and Thien Mu Pagadoa. Nearby beaches include Canh Duong Beach and Lang Co Beach.Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, still remains a vibrant trading center for South Vietnam.
Hoi An was a major trading center in the 16th century and has been declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Hoi An now welcomes visitors with its beautiful scenery including the Thu Bon River, Cua Dai Beach and the Cham Islands.
Beach packages including return airfare from Vancouver, BC start at only $1999 CAD for 15 days and 12 nights. Book now for travel March to September 2009. If you’d like the details, just let me know.
