Carnival Splendor Cruises to Mexico April 2009

Carnival Splendor  Carnival Splendor

The newest mega cruise ship, Carnival Splendor, will offer 7-day cruises departing on Sundays from Los Angeles (Long Beach), California, to three ports of call in sunny Mexico.

First up is Cabo San Lucas with its dramatic scenery - the contrast of the rocky coastline against the white sand beaches is beautiful.  Here, the nightlife is endless as well as your options for booking shore excursions.  Try a 4×4 Baja jeep safari, golfing at the Cabo del Sol Desert Course or a Beach Horseback Adventure.

Mazatlan is a wonderful place to go on a historical walking tour of Old Mazatlan with its narrow streets and the city market.  The Golden Zone is the place for shopping where you will find great bargains on Mexican glassware and souvenirs.  Go cross country biking or sample Mexico’s world famous Pacifico beer.

Puerto Vallarta offers gorgeous beaches just waiting for you to come and relax.  If you’re feeling adventurous, you can experience a Dolphin Encounter or do a Scuba Discovery course or go on a two-tank dive if you’re already certified.  Other amazing options include an ATV Adventure and a Whale Photo Safari.

The Carnival Splendor is Carnival’s most innovative ship.  It offers guests a massive huge two-level spa and gym, flatscreen televisions in all staterooms, a huge children’s playroom, a mini-golf course, a three-deck high water slide, a Manhattan-style supper club and so much more!

Prices start at $539 per person based on double occupancy, not including taxes, fees and/ or any surcharges.  Find out more about Carnival Cruise Lines here.
