While the Carnival Splendor is docked at San Pedro port in Los Angeles, a spectacular one night concert to benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation will take place on March 26, 2009.

The line-up of performers includes John Mayer, Jordin Sparks, Sara Bareilles, Gavin Rossdale, O.A.R., DJ Logic and Guster.  The event marks the introduction of the largest ‘Fun Ship’, Carnival Splendor, to be based year-round in sunny California.  The Carnival Splendor features 4 swimming pools, an enormous spa, 22 bars/lounges, an outdoor movie screen, while accommodating just over 3,000 passengers onboard. 

If one night is not enough, the Carnival Splendor will begin sailing with its first cruise on March 27, 2009 for a 4-night vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  John Mayer, O.A.R., Guster and more will be onboard to perform for guests throughout the cruise.
